RB Grant was founded in St Andrews by local electrician Ronnie Grant in 1974. Starting out by himself after serving his electrical apprenticeship he quickly grew the company which employs around 50 electricians today. We have many existing clients in St. Andrews who have used our electrical services for many years. We carry out electrical testing and repair for the British Golf Museum, Fire Alarm and data network for the R&A and electrical maintenance for St Andrews Castle and Cathedral as an example. Our electricians live and work in St Andrews and we provide emergency electrical repairs within a one hour timescale.

We provided the external lighting for Historic Scotland’s Castle and Cathedral and the power and lighting within the visitors centres.  We installed the lighting, sockets and data installation for Murray Donald’s award winning Bell Street property shop.
