EV Charge Point Grant for Rural and Island Businesses in Scotland

Microbusinesses, sole traders, and third sector organisations in rural and island communities across Scotland can now apply for funding to install electric vehicle (EV) charge points at their premises.

Funded by Transport Scotland, this grant covers up to 100% of the purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £5,000. The scheme aims to make the transition to low-emission transport more affordable and accessible for smaller organisations.

The funding is available for private EV charge points intended for use by staff and business fleet vehicles. It is not available for publicly accessible charging facilities.
